Billing Executive

Criticare Asia Hospital is seeking a detail-oriented and efficient Billing Executive to manage patient billing operations, ensure accurate financial transactions, and support smooth coordination between clinical, administrative, and insurance departments. The involves handling OPD/IPD billing, insurance coordination, and maintaining compliance with hospital financial policies.

Roles & Responsibilities

• Manage end-to-end OPD and IPD billing processes accurately and efficiently.
• Generate and verify bills, invoices, and receipts for all patient services.
• Ensure accurate charge capture for consultations, procedures, diagnostics, and consumables.
• Handle billing for cash, corporate, insurance, and TPA patients.
• Coordinate with TPA/insurance teams for approvals, documentation, and claim processing.
• Manage admission, interim, and discharge billing activities.
• Track payments, outstanding dues, and ensure timely collection of receivables.
• Handle billing discrepancies, queries, and provide prompt resolutions to patients.
• Process refunds, cancellations, and adjustments as per hospital policies.
• Ensure correct application of packages, discounts, and approvals in billing systems.
• Maintain accurate billing records and documentation for audit and compliance purposes.
• Coordinate with clinical and administrative departments for billing accuracy.
• Update and maintain records in the Hospital Information System (HIS).
• Prepare daily billing reports and MIS for management review.
• Ensure compliance with hospital billing policies and financial control procedures.
• Maintain confidentiality of patient and financial data at all times.
• Support internal and external audits by providing required billing documents.
• Ensure smooth billing experience to enhance patient satisfaction.
• Assist in resolving TPA-related billing issues in coordination with concerned departments.
• Continuously improve billing processes for efficiency and accuracy.
