RMO Incharge

Horizon Prime Hospital is seeking a responsible and experienced RMO Incharge to lead resident medical officers, ensure efficient patient care management, and oversee smooth clinical operations across hospital departments. The involves supervision, coordination with consultants, emergency handling, and maintaining high standards of medical care and compliance.

Roles & Responsibilities

• Supervise and manage the team of Resident Medical Officers (RMOs).
• Ensure smooth functioning of ward and clinical operations across all shifts.
• Conduct regular patient rounds and monitor clinical status of admitted patients.
• Coordinate with consultants and specialists for patient treatment and care planning.
• Handle emergency cases and ensure timely medical intervention.
• Guide and support RMOs in managing critical and complex cases.
• Ensure proper documentation of patient records, treatment notes, and progress sheets.
• Review and verify medical documentation for accuracy and compliance.
• Monitor adherence to hospital protocols, clinical guidelines, and accreditation standards.
• Ensure effective communication between medical, nursing, and support staff.
• Oversee patient admissions, discharges, and transfers with proper documentation.
• Coordinate with TPA and administrative teams for patient-related processes.
• Ensure availability of medical staff and manage duty rosters for RMOs.
• Conduct training, mentoring, and performance evaluation of RMOs.
• Ensure implementation of infection control and patient safety practices.
• Handle patient and family concerns with professionalism and empathy.
• Support hospital management in clinical audits and quality improvement initiatives.
• Ensure readiness and participation in medical camps and outreach programs.
• Maintain discipline, accountability, and high standards of patient care within the team.
• Act as a bridge between management and clinical teams for effective communication.
• Ensure compliance with legal, ethical, and regulatory requirements in clinical practice.
