Billing Executive

Horizon Prime Hospital is seeking a detail-oriented and efficient Billing Executive to manage patient billing operations, ensure accurate financial transactions, and provide seamless support to patients and internal departments. The involves handling OPD/IPD billing, coordinating with insurance/TPA teams, and maintaining compliance with hospital billing policies.

Roles & Responsibilities

• Handle end-to-end OPD and IPD billing processes accurately and efficiently.
• Generate bills, invoices, and receipts for all patient services and procedures.
• Ensure accurate charge capture for consultations, diagnostics, procedures, and consumables.
• Process billing for cash, corporate, insurance, and TPA patients.
• Coordinate with TPA/insurance teams for approvals, claims processing, and documentation.
• Track payments, pending dues, and ensure timely collections.
• Manage patient admissions billing, discharge billing, and final bill settlements.
• Handle billing queries, discrepancies, and provide prompt resolutions to patients.
• Process refunds, cancellations, and billing adjustments as per hospital policies.
• Maintain accurate billing records and documentation for audit purposes.
• Ensure proper posting of packages, discounts, and special approvals.
• Coordinate with clinical and administrative departments for billing accuracy.
• Ensure compliance with hospital billing guidelines and financial controls.
• Maintain confidentiality of patient and financial information.
• Support internal and external audits by providing necessary billing data.
• Update billing data in Hospital Information System (HIS) accurately.
• Monitor daily billing reports and prepare MIS as required.
• Ensure smooth patient experience through efficient billing and service recovery.
• Maintain proper inventory and tracking of billing-related documents.
• Participate in training programs and system updates for continuous improvement.
