2D Echo Technician

Horizon Prime Hospital is seeking a skilled and detail-oriented 2D Echo Technician to perform high-quality echocardiography procedures, assist cardiologists in accurate diagnosis, and ensure smooth functioning of cardiac diagnostic services. The involves patient handling, operation of echocardiography equipment, and maintaining clinical and technical standards.

Roles & Responsibilities

• Perform 2D Echocardiography procedures as per standard clinical protocols.
• Assist cardiologists in conducting and interpreting echocardiographic studies.
• Prepare patients for procedures and explain the process to ensure comfort and cooperation.
• Position patients correctly to obtain optimal imaging views.
• Operate and maintain echocardiography machines and related equipment.
• Capture accurate images and recordings for diagnostic evaluation.
• Ensure proper documentation and reporting of test results.
• Maintain patient records and ensure confidentiality of medical information.
• Follow infection control and hygiene protocols during procedures.
• Ensure proper calibration and routine maintenance of equipment.
• entify and report any equipment malfunction or technical issues.
• Coordinate with doctors, nurses, and other departments for patient scheduling and workflow.
• Handle emergency cases and assist in urgent cardiac assessments when required.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the diagnostic area.

• Provide support during other cardiac diagnostic procedures if required.
• Manage consumables and ensure availability of necessary supplies.
