The Receptionist will manage front desk operations, patient greeting, registration support, appointment coordination, call handling, enquiry response, and patient guidance at Preethi Hospitals, Madurai. This requires any graduate qualification with 0–5 years of front office or reception experience.
Roles & Responsibilities
- Welcome patients, attendants, visitors, and guests politely at the reception desk.
- Handle phone calls, walk-in enquiries, appointments, and service guidance.
- Support patient registration, OPD coordination, billing guidance, and report collection.
- Provide information about doctors, departments, timings, services, and hospital process flow.
- Maintain visitor records, appointment registers, enquiry logs, and patient information accurately.
- Coordinate with OPD, billing, laboratory, pharmacy, nursing, and patient care teams.
- Guide patients to consultation rooms, billing counters, laboratory, pharmacy, and waiting areas.
- Manage waiting area communication and help reduce patient confusion or delays.
- Handle patient queries politely and escalate unresolved issues to seniors.
- Use hospital software, computer systems, telephone, and office tools efficiently.
- Maintain confidentiality of patient information and hospital records.
- Ensure smooth, helpful, and patient-friendly reception services.
